April 19, 2008 - Houston, TX - The weather has been amazing the past week or
so and we decided to take advantage of it and have a pool party. So we
invited Leah and the grandkids over for a cook out and a swim. The RV park
here has a beautiful pool area with a heated pool so we used one of the grills
and cooked hamburgers, hot dogs and wonderful sausages. We had cheese dip, chips
and finished it up with cookies. A real junk food feast was enjoyed by all.
The pool was so warm that even I got in. The kids and I played for a couple
of hours while Leah and Jerry sat in the shade and chatted. There were two
ladies that were in the pool for a while and were very kind to play with Mark
and Paige before I got in. They were trying to teach them to swim and the kids
were enjoying "entertaining" them. All and all it was a very enjoyable day.
