November 25, 2006 - Galveston, TX - Well, it is official - we
are Mr. and Mrs. Bushon!! We had a great day yesterday - our wedding day. The
wedding was wonderful. The Judge that performed the ceremony kept it short as we
had requested but was very funny. It was what I like to call an audience
participation wedding. He stopped to allow folks to take pictures of the rings.
He made Jerry say "I Do" to him and then turn around to the our friends and say
it to them. It was very relaxed - just what we wanted.
The reception was a blast. Lots of great food, alcohol, music, cake and good
friends visiting, dancing and just enjoying themselves. If someone was there who
didn't have a good time...well they were just not trying.
The Tremont House hotel in Galveston Texas is a great venue for a wedding. The
rooms were set up nicely, and the food was plentiful and very, very good. The
package included a suite for us and it was indeed the largest hotel suite I have
ever been in. It was really more like a loft apartment without a kitchen. It is
an historic hotel so the ceiling are at least 14 feet high. We had a great time
and are glad that some many of our friends and family could join us. So finally
I can sign our ramblings as Mrs. Jerry Bushon.....
